Some patients are considered difficult; their veins may be small or deep, making it hard for healthcare professionals to identify an appropriate site quickly and efficiently. 2. Repeated attempts can cause discomfort and may affect patient confidence in the phlebotomist. 3. This device is designed to assist in visualizing veins, making it useful for small clinics, medical professionals, and general use. It helps locate veins with fewer attempts. How to use: Step 1: Minimize ambient light. A dark environment provides optimal results. Press the button on the bottom of the device to activate the infrared LED. Step 2: Apply gentle pressure on the skin and slowly move the device from side to side. Veins will appear as dark lines or shadows at the periphery of the red glow emitted by the device. Note: The device must be in direct contact with the skin to detect veins. Scanning without contact will not produce results. Step 3: Once a vein is located (visible as dark lines), adjust the position of the device around the area to achieve the clearest view. For superficial veins, slightly increase the distance between the device and skin if the light is too bright. Follow the vein’s path to determine its direction and length.
