TXB127 SFF8639 Interface 2-port Solid State Drive (SSD) Adapter Board to PCLEX8 to 2 U.2 Expansion Card

The TXB127 is an internal PCIe (1x SFF-8643 72-pin) PCI Express x8 bifurcation riser card. PCI Express bifurcation means splitting a PCI Express bus into smaller multiple slots. For example, an x8 PCI-Express port can be bifurcated into two x4 PCI-Express ports. This can be configured from the motherboard BIOS if you want to split an existing channel. This adapter is designed to connect high-performance 2.5" NVMe U.2 (SFF-8639) SSDs via an SFF-8643 cable. U.2 SSDs can be loaded into backplanes with SFF-8643 connectors interfacing with the adapter, allowing U.2 SSDs to be used like drive cartridges. If not supported, the TXB127 riser card will only support a single NVMe device with a PCIe x4 link width.
