The SOP8 clip enables in-circuit programming of EEPROM without removing the chip, making BIOS flashing simpler and more efficient. The CH341A Programmer is designed for backing up, erasing, programming, and calibrating various chips. The SOP8 clip supports chips with a 1.27mm pitch, compatible with both wide and narrow body SOP8 packages. The CH341A Programmer supports most 24/25 series EEPROM BIOS chips in SOP8 and SOP16 packages available on the market. (Note: Please check the supported chip models on the manufacturer's website before purchase.) Due to the characteristics of the CH341A chip, ESMT class 25 chips can be read but not written. This SOP8 clip provides a convenient solution for programming chips without desoldering, saving time and improving efficiency. Important notes for test clip usage: 1. Some motherboards allow direct chip clamping, but others may have surrounding circuits that interfere with operation. Always verify chip placement on the motherboard before use. 2. The test clip is compatible with many high-power programmers. When using a programmer with protection features, normal voltage may not allow reading. In such cases, apply an external 3.3V power supply. 3. To use, secure the chip and apply 3.3V to the pin corresponding to the chip's 8th pin. Connect the VCC wire of the 3.3V power supply to the clip and the ground wire to the appropriate ground point. 4. When attaching the clip, do not force it down. Open the clip first and position it evenly from both sides of the chip. When removing, gently release the clip from both sides before lifting it off to avoid damaging the contact tips.
