This box is compatible with control types EDC15 (diesel) and ME7. The EDC15 control for diesel engines is installed in models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control for engines 1.6i and above is also supported. Compatible with control unit types ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1. Usage guide: Plug the EDC15/ME7 box into the vehicle's diagnostic socket (OBD2). Then switch the OBD2 drive box to "OFF". Within 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF) without the need for a computer. The LED on the tool will flash slowly at first, then rapidly, indicating the immobilizer function is disabled. The vehicle will operate without a transponder key. To reactivate the immobilizer, switch the drive box back to "ON" (IMMO ON). Designed for models equipped with Motronic systems EDC15 (diesel) or ME7. Not suitable for 1.8T and 2.0TFSI models, or vehicles with 1.4 and 1.6 engines. This tool is intended for professional use by authorized automotive technicians.
