The governor product works by changing the software version of the scooter to achieve higher speed. If your original motor is 250W, the performance may be limited because the motor restricts the overall speed of the scooter. The motor may not support speeds up to 38km/h. The governor has 2 speed states: (1) Low speed status – up to 20km/h. Factory default is low speed status. (2) High-speed status – up to 38km/h. Steps for use 1. Turn off the scooter. 2. Remove the four screws on the top of the scooter's riser, located under the scooter's meter. Keep these four screws. 3. Open the lever. You will see the meter and a wire connected with a plug in the middle. Please unplug it. 4. Insert the governor between the meter and the wire, ensuring proper alignment. Do not damage the internal pins. 5. Place the governor into the center of the riser and reinstall the 4 screws. 6. Press and hold the power button.
