During normal discharge operation, the green status indicator light remains illuminated. When the light turns off, it indicates that the energy stored in the capacitor has been discharged to a safe level. This tool is ideal for power supply maintenance and the safe discharge of high-voltage energy storage capacitors. Equipped with a 1200V high-power IGBT tube, it offers high voltage resistance and enables rapid, constant-current discharge in both forward and reverse connections without sparking. Supports discharge for capacitors up to 5000µF. The discharge current ranges from 80 to 100mA, allowing efficient discharge of large capacitors such as 4700µF without stress (e.g., 320V 1000µF discharged in approximately 6 seconds, 320V 2000µF in about 10 seconds). Note: This model is designed to operate stably within DC 1000V and 4700µF. In circuits with multiple energy storage capacitors connected in parallel, the total capacitance should be estimated.
