Place the bags in order from finest to coarsest (start with purple 25-micron bag, followed by yellow, orange-red, red, and blue) into the bucket. 2. Add cold water to cover the bottom of the mesh bags (approximately half full). 3. Add frozen or dried plant material and sufficient ice to nearly fill the bucket. 4. Mix the ice and plant material for 15–20 minutes, then let the mixture sit for 30 minutes. 5. Remove each bag sequentially to collect the separated herbal extracts. 6.
