We changed the design of the orignal bracket ,the oring has made more thicker than before and will never break again , For this situation ,the ball may come out ,and the bungee cords seems a little short ,so we make the square one more thicker and more higher at the ball stay place ,also add 2 pcs 50mm bungee cords in the package ,in case you will face different place. Change to our thicker end cap, the cen caps with bigger and thicker ears will perfect fit the orignal rod with 18mm holes. We have now replaced all of the hardware with these new ones, and they have done great. They have thicker plastic, which seams to make all of the difference. Highly recommend!!! 2.Excellent quality and works perfect with my Coolaroo sun shades. Bought to all me to have it anchored at different heights. Expensive for what you get but its functional and looks like original parts. Wish you could just buy the holders because I dont need more bungee pieces. 3.Good quality. Better design than the original much sturdier. Installation is a bit challenging due to the difference in the overall bracket and blind insert size from the original parts. Very little play allowed in the install. Measure the overall length after inserting the replacement clutch and other side new parts are shorter in length. 4.It was easy to remove the old bracket and install the new bracket so that we could roll up the Suncoast blind. The loop portion broke off during the summer and I had to roll up the blind by hand which took forever. Best money spent. It's like going to the creek to haul water because the faucet is broken. The job is harder than is necessary. 5.I used this part to replace an end cap that broke when the shade was tied to the base and was forced open. I can tell you that this part is at least double the thickness as the original and would not have broken. I am glad I replaced both.
