The TMC2209 is pin-compatible with many legacy drivers as well as the TMC2208. advanced StealthChop2 chopper ensures silent motor operation, high efficiency, and maximum torque. Its combination of fast current regulation and resonance suppression enables highly dynamic motion. StallGuard prevents stalls by providing sensorless homing. Built-in power MOSFETs handle motor currents up to 2A RMS and feature protection and diagnostic features for stable and reliable operation. An easy-to-use UART interface opens up tuning and control options. Application tuning can be stored in OTP memory.
